This was done in purpose by revision 1997: "Make vertical and horizontal mirror both exclusive" http://skychart.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/skychart?view=revision&revision=1997 The right way to make a 180 degrees rotation is to set the rotation field to 180... But I agree this not as quick as a click to two buttons. Revision 2170 add two functions to the Rotation button: "Windows logo key" + left click = rotate by 180 degrees.
