For me this star is present in Tycho2. See screenshot. Where do you get your Tycho2 catalog ? Is it the one available with the additional star catalog available in this page: http://www.ap-i.net/skychart/en/download If yes, please upload here your file skychart.ini |

I also made the following sequence of actions: 1. Start the CDC (my start screen on screenshot 1.jpg) 2. Find the TYC4774-954-1 (screenshot 2.jpg) 3. Zoom in (screenshot 3.jpg) Stars 4774-930-1, 4774-931-1 and 4774-953-1 are absent. Next close the program. Then again start the program, but on step 2 find 4774-930-1. Now there are no 4774-931-1 and 4774-953-1 (screenshot 4.jpg). And finally on step 2 find the 4774-931-1, now only 4774-953-1 is absent (as my first screenshot). If on step 2 find 4774-953-1, all four stars are present. |

Thank you! I also get the problem if I use your sequence. The problem is only after a search but I was zooming directly on the trapezium. I try to fix that soon. |

This is fixed by revision 2457: http://sourceforge.net/p/skychart/code/2457 The bug was introduced by the new search function added in 3.8. The fix will be include in next Monday 3.9 beta version. |

revision 2462: if after a search and zooming (as your screenshot tyc47749531.png), re-use a search of the same or a neighboring star of a trapeze, all the stars disappear |

Yes, there was still a side effect in another function. This is fixed by revision 2479: http://sourceforge.net/p/skychart/code/2479 |
