| Description | When I look for 3C 273 (via search function), Skycharts returns an object at J2000 RA: 12h29m06.0s DE:+02°06'00" - note that there isn't any object corrispondence in the DSS survey. Actually, 3UC 185-112408 from the UCAC3 catalog is a very good match for 3C 273 at J2000 RA: 12h29m06.696s DE:+02°03'08.60" and it fits, indeed, with the image of 3C 273 in the DSS. According to SIMBAD 3c273 coordinates are 12 29 06.69973 +02 03 08.5982 so the match with 3UC 185-112408 is good. The error is with SAC 7.2, I just checked it is better with SAC 8.0 but still only arcmin precision "12 29.1","+02 03" I will change for SAC 8.0 but this imply checking all the object name with the picture package, so it take some time. |
