I cannot reproduce the problem. To be sure this is not a problem with the printer driver do the following: - Open the menu File / Printer setup - Check System Printer and click the Printer Setup button - From the printer list select "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" - Close all the dialog with OK and print a chart, give a file name for the xps file. - Check the result with the XPS viewer. If you get the same problem with the XPS Writer, install the debug version available from: http://www.ap-i.net/skychart/snapshot/debug/ Then follow the instruction on this page to run with gdb and post the gdb trace here. |

I look like this problem is still present with the 64 bit Windows version: From Bob Harris: The previous posting was the result of the installation on my XP desktop. I have also installed it on my W7 64bit laptop and my W7 32bit netbook. The W7 32bit netbook performed exactly as the XP desktop. However, on the W7 64bit laptop, the print function resulted in an error message as follows: CreateDC Exception:"Control-C hit" (Error: The operation completed successfully. ", DC=0 Driver=hp psc 1200 series" Device="hp pac 1200 series (Copy 2)" Port= USB001"). The error message seems to imply that there is a problem with the prnter driver, however, I tested the print function in several other software packages and there was no problem printing with those packages. |

Cannot reproduce on my Windows 7 64bit test system. Printing to a HP Laserjet 2550 using 64bit HP universal PCL6 driver work fine. |

Nice! I can reproduce the problem by defining a dummy "HP PSC 1500" using the driver shipped with Win7. This must be fixed by revision 1724: http://svn.origo.ethz.ch/viewvc/skychart?view=rev&revision=1724 |
