Yes this can be very useful. Even more useful if the status page is not a window of the program but a web page you can access remotely (or locally) in any browser. This can make easy to check the status with a phone. At the moment there is a very simple telnet interface but this can be a good improvement and give more information. https://www.ap-i.net/ccdciel/en/documentation/server |

I add the status web page, it run on the same port as the telnet interface so you get visualize the page from http://localhost:3277 . I also add a menu entry in the Help section to access this page.
