DescriptionLast night, before the end of a bias sequence (2 images before the end), ccdciel crashed and exited without warning. I don't know what caused it. I restarted it and it ran other sequences fine all night.

error 0xc0000409 is stack overflow.

Do you run a very big sequence with a lot of exposure? or is ccdciel running for a very long time? many repeat option?
It is easy to increase the stack size in the compiler options but it is best if we can shorten the recursion loop,
I already fix the most important by using QueueAsyncCall() to chain the capture and when changing the target, but maybe we must also that for the plan steps or for the repeat loop.

The sequence had few steps (bias + 4 darks) , but the one it failed on was the 500 bias frames plan. It failed on #498.

Strange, because there is no recursion when starting the exposures. I will try to search more in detail, maybe valgrind can help.
For now I commit a change to increase the max stack size:
