Summary0002242: Possibility to disconnect a single device
DescriptionHi Patrick,
sometimes during an already started photo session, I happen to have some connection problems with my mount, which forces me to power cycle it.
Unfortunately though, to reconnect it to ccdciel I have to disconnect/reconnect all the devices, not only the mount.
Would it be possible to find a way to connect/disconnect only a single device at a time?
Also, just for info, would it be possible to do the same in indistarter, i.e. stop/start a single device driver?
Thank you very much!
Piero

Yes, this can be useful.
I can implement it with a click on the short device name below the connect button. This can show a popup menu with Disconnect, Connect for this single device.

You can already restart a single driver in Indistarter. Right click on the device row to show the menu, the menu content depend on the status of the server and the driver.

This was more easy to implement than expected.
So, just click on the small red/green text of the device below the connect button to show the popup connect/disconnect.
With INDI Disconnect work the same as the full disconnect, it only close the connection with the server but not disconnect the device itself.
