Summary0002337: Image luminosity
DescriptionHi Patrick,

I find the recently added luminosity slider very useful even though, using a tablet connected through VNC to ccdciel, it is a bit awkward and difficult for me to find the exact position of the slider so, in order to have a good luminosity of the image, I often have to resort to moving the red/green histogram limits by hand.
The problem is that, after each image is downloaded from the camera, the histogram limits are reset according to the slider position, so I lose the manual adjustment.
Don't you think it would be better to avoid to reset the visualization after each image change and leave it as it has been set previously, either by hand or by using the slider?

Thanks a lot.

Right, this was previously done by the button status and I forget to replace this function with the new cursor.

This is fixed by:
https://github.com/pchev/ccdciel/commit/b31bf336e10d4d3e161ce4ca8b12152f36a1e4aa

About the use with the tablet, do the use of the virtual keyboard can help? When the cursor is selected the left/right and up/down keys move the cursor by a small value.

Thanks Patrick, works like a charm.
The virtual keyboard surely helps, but I find the most comfortable and quick way on the tablet to stretch the image is to give a rough touch with the slider and then refine with the green/red bars.

Thank you!
