Summary | 0001364: incorrect values for asteroid's hourly motion
Description | Incorrect values are given for asteroid's hourly motion.
Steps To Reproduce | Set date/time to JD 2456916.9 Set simulation to 3 steps every 1 hour Change FOV to 30' Locate the asteroid 1157 Arabia Notice how little distance the asteroid moves per hour. Now click on the first of the asteroid's three simulation points, and notice the values given for Hourly motion: +27°35'49" PA:260° dRA:-2h08m06.8s dDec:-49'18" I also checked the values given for asteroids 1155 Aenna and 1156 Kira, and they also have very large hourly motion values given--over 44 and 32 degrees per hour, respectively. So it doesn't seem to be a problem limited to just one asteroid.
Additional Information | I am using version 3.11-svn-3003.
