Description | Coordinates grid does not seem to precess. Is this correct? Polaris remains pole star for thousands of years. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Create skychart for present date and print chart. Change date to BC and print chart. Also, the pole of the ecliptic is not shown. | ||||

This is because you select to show the chart with the J2000 coordinates, so J2000 coordinates and grid are used for any epoch, this is the goal for this option. Please open the menu Setup/Chart,coordinates and select "Apparent" in the box "Type of coordinates". |
