Summary | 0001715: tracking ISS
Description | I would like to follow with my telescope the ISS: I have got the file of the predicted positions and plotted on the Sky chart. Connected the mount to the PC without problems so that I can point any star on the chart and the telescope tracks it correcting for the Earth rotation. Is there a way to tell the telescope to track the ISS instead? if I right-click on the ISS position and try to lock on it I get the message "no object to lock". Thank for your cooperation.

After you display the ISS path on the map you can click any dot with the position for a given time and request the telescope to slew there. But it will not track the ISS because it is not possible to do that by simply request slewing at the next point at the right time. You must use a specific software intended for this use.
