| Summary | 0002460: limiting magnitude in FOV 4 | ||||
| Description | I have loaded the ucac4 catalog and set the filter magnitudes for the different fields, but apparently it does not work for fields of 10 degrees or more. In these fields the maximum magnitude of the displayed stars is always 10, and cannot be increased with the star button, but can be decreased. The same happen under LINUX-MINT. Can you help me please? Roberto Nesci | ||||

This is probably because the UCAC4 catalog is not active for this FOV. In this screenshot: https://www.ap-i.net/skychart/_detail/en/news/config_ucac2.jpg the catalog is active between FOV 0 and 5, and FOV 5 is up to 20°. Be sure the FOV number in the "max" column correspond to more than 10°. |
