Sure, the program compilation itself for Mac/ARM is easy. But I also need to compile all the depending libraries and I not try for now. The main problem is I cannot test myself and it is useless to try something without testing capabilities. Tell me if you are interested to do this testing, in this case I will look more in detail to each library compilation and send you test versions. |

A first version of Skychart build for Mac arm64 is available from testing from https://vega.ap-i.net/pub/skychart/daily_build/ I am confident this work because it was build and tested on my new mini M4 I get thanks to the generosity of donator. This is a separate download skychart-4.3-4946-arm64-macosx.dmg that contain only the arm code, this is better for testing because we are sure it not use Rosetta without telling us. For now I am not sure if I continue this way or make a universal package in the future, both have advantage. |
