| Summary | 0002818: Refresh of details window | ||||
| Description | If you open the details window for an object and keep it open, if you change date/time in the main program the details window is not updated (for example, topocentric apparent azimut and altitude). It would be nice to have those details refreshed in synch with the main window, or at least to have a "refresh" button to avoid the need to close and reopen the details window. | ||||

BTW, this is just slightly related: if you fix the chart on a object and change date/time, the info showed in the status bar is not refreshed as well. |

Just noticed: if I change time with the clock's "step ahead"/"step behind" toolbars buttons, both the status bar and the detail window are refreshed. This doesn't happen if I set the time in the config window. Moreover, after setting the time in config, the first click on toolbar clock's "step ahead"/"step behind" doesn't refresh info, it starts to update from the second click. |

Hi Mattia, You need to "lock" the object (anchor button) if you want to be sure the information is refreshed when changing the time. Otherwise it is not possible to keep the selection just by coordinates, planet are moving, what if the time step is 1000 years, etc... I look to fix the status bar display when changing the time in this case. |
