| Description | It would be nice to have two buttons "Go to sunset" / "Go to sunrise" in toolbar to quickly set time to the prev/next sunrise/sunset. I think to avoid having 4 buttons (prev sunrise / next sunrise / prev sunset / next sunset) they should be targeting the "boundaries" of the current day or night. If the current time is night, "Go to sunset" will be the previous sunset, "Go to sunrise" will be the next morning; if it's day, "Go to sunset" will be the next sunset, "Go to sunrise" will be today morning. Mattia, This is a useful function, but there is a lot more that can be useful like "next moon rise", or "next nautical twilight" . For this reason this is actually implemented using the Calendar module. In the calendar you can double click on any cell with a time to set the chart to this time and centered on the related object. So to navigate between surise or sunset open the calendar at Solar System / Sun, then double click the Rise or Set column for any day. This work the same for the Moon or any planet, comet and asteroid. But also for twilight and eclipse. Do this work for you? |

Sure, I just thought it could be handy to have a button in toolbar to directly set those times, rather than opening the calendar view. |

OK, I see the interest. Your idea to make it sensitive to the current time is good. I look to implement that. |
