Hi Rob, I attache two screen shot that show the setting in Indistarter and the content of the gsc directory, be sure you have something similar. After that you must link the camera and the telescope driver in Indi so the camera simulator know where it is pointing. Set "Snoop device" for the camera simulator to "Telescope Simulator". see screenshot. Also be sure in the Indi camera Option tab a telescope focal length and aperture is set. |

Hi Patrick, Thanks for the quick reply and information. I reset the location of gsc files again and that issue is corrected. No further messages. I had input in the telescope focal length and aperture but I had not input "Telescope Simulator " this is now done but unfortunately I still cannot connect the CCD guide simulator. every thing else is working. I'm obviously missing something simple. I have tried to search for settings on the INDI website but I have been unable to find any guidance. Any other suggestions would be welcome. Hi Patrick, OK all working. User error, I'm embarrassed to admit i had simply not checked the use guide camera indi in device set up for guide camera. Sorry to have troubled you. Many thanks, Rob. |
