| Summary | 0002882: Request Chinese language support. | ||||
| Description | I really love Virtual Moon Atlas (VMA)—it’s the best lunar visualization program I’ve ever used. However, as a Chinese user, I sincerely hope that Chinese language support could be added, so it can be more accessible and widely promoted among Chinese-speaking astronomy enthusiasts. If any assistance is needed from my side—such as translation, testing, or feedback—please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m truly looking forward to the day when VMA officially supports Chinese! | ||||

Hi, The translation for the Virtualmoon is made in Launchpad : https://translations.launchpad.net/virtualmoon You can create an account there and start the translation online. Start with the "maplun" module, this is the main program with the moon map. After you translate some text you can download the translation file, rename the file to maplun.cn.po and put it in the directory "Program Files\Virtualmoon\language\" Tell me if you need more help. You can also translate the database but this is a tedious work. |
