| Summary | 0001310: Objects below the horizon are not displayed. | ||||
| Description | In my default view having 240° FOV I cannot get the objects below the horizon to display. The following error message appears below the chart window: "Field of vision too wide for ARC projection, hiding the object below the horizon". See attached screenshot. I did not have this problem in version 3.4 which I was using until this morning. | ||||

This limitation was added late 2011 in revision 1978 when I was working on the new projections. Later in revision 2048 I keep it only for the ARC projection. But I not remember why ... I totally remove this code in revision 2856 so it work as you want and I not find any bug resulting of this change. http://sourceforge.net/p/skychart/code/2856/ This will be available with tomorrow beta version 3.11. You can install this beta safely as this is the only change since the stable 3.10. |
