Summary | 0001380: Position dialog improvement
Description | When I set the view to the local zenith (either by clicking the "z" icon or manually by setting the altitude to 90) and then exit the program (which saves the configuration), each time I start the program a box pops up saying "Invalid Argument".

This is probably the same issue as 0001379 Can you try with the last beta version available from the left menu at http://www.ap-i.net/skychart |
It didn't happen in the beta version. Thanks. Also, I was thinking that the position dialog box should either say your current position when you open it or to have a way for you to automatically change it to it (like to press a button). What do you think? |
Thank you for the confirmation. If I understand you need a "Apply" button in the Position dialog to set the chart at the new position without closing the dialog. But also this dialog do not lock the other program function and it is refreshed if you change the chart position by another way. Right? |
Correct. But I'm assuming that some people want it to say their recent entry, so if you can also include a way to go back to it even after you switch your position through other methods (which will change the info in the position dialog box)? |
I change the issue title to reflect the new subject. Maybe the simplest way is to not update the positions values as long this dialog is open. This way you can return to the dialog, click Apply to set your entry position, and repeat any time you want. If you click OK the dialog close and the values are initialized with the new chart position the next time you open it, as it do now. |
