| Description | Save image from main menu is too limited. it can save only what is actually show on screen, To make larger images, Print form must be used, however that is limited to chosen paper size... Similar result as on standard Print Screen button... It would be nice to have ability to save chart with certain desired resolution, if not here then in for in "Print" form. | ||||

Other resolution than the screen must be done with the Print function. I think paper size + dpi is more easy to setup than pixel width x height. What I can do is to add the pixel size as information in print setup, it's just a multiplication. |

Some images with CDC are so realistic (planets as Jupiter or Moon), that wallpaper can be made... That is exact reason I have though about, when suggested this feature, regardless current resolution of the chart. |

OK, I understand. In this case paper size ratio is not good. I need to add an option to set bitmap width x height directly. |

You can now enter the bitmap size directly in Printer Setup when bitmap output is selected. Also the margin are automatically set to zero when the output is a bitmap. https://sourceforge.net/p/skychart/code/3254/ |
