| Description | In the new Solar System information window, I think that the "seen from: planet" option should be visible / active only when "look at:" is pointing to a satellite. It doesn't make sense (to me) having "look at: planet" + "from: planet". | ||||

It have full sense in xplanet. I.e., you can for instance look at Io from Earth, Sun and Mother planet - i.e Jupiter, however, notice that "planet to planet" force xplanet to show Jupiter in close view, which is not related to any other. I had no time to play with these minor issues: to change accordingly names and hide if does not make sense (for Earth). But that can be polish now easily. |

This can be improved. - remove "from Planet" when target is Earth - change "from Planet" to "Above Planet" when target is main Planet - "from Earth" can be changed to "from observatory_name" to be more precise, as parallax is counted. Also use "Above observatory_name" I try do do that. |

Do it a bit differently, use planet name instead of "Planet". Must be clear what it do now. This is fixed by rev 3377: https://sourceforge.net/p/skychart/code/3377/ |
