The problem is because of different data used in Hipparcos and WDS. There is often small difference in the coordinates but in this case the main offset is due to the large proper motion of this star, and the WDS do not include the proper motion information. So it help if you disable the proper motion computation also for Hipparcos. For that, open the menu Setup/Chart,coordinates, then check "Equatorial coordinates", and "Mean J2000". It is unfortunately not possible to do better without fixing the catalogs themselves, something I cannot do myself. |
