Description | LX200 commands ':Sr HH:MM:SS#' and ':Sd sDD*MM:SS#' are missing spaces between after Sr/Sd.... mount with FS2 astro control unit can't work properly. I had to downgrade to 3.8 | ||||

Unfortunately there is now so much variant of the LX200 protocol that every time I make a fix for a specific variant it break another. And in this case this is clearly a bug in the FS2, the Meade protocol manual, either 2002 or 2010 version, show no space here. For this reason I have totally removed this direct LX200 driver in the current 4.1 beta version. Your best option is to install the last ASCOM Platform and the corresponding LX200 driver available from https://ascom-standards.org/Downloads/ScopeDrivers.htm . There is currently 6 different variant available in this page and one of them specifically mention the FS2. |
