Summary0002206: program crashes at attempt to download comet or asteroid elements.
DescriptionWhen starting to download comet or asteroid Elements in most recent beta version of skychart the software starts to erase several lists but does not download new elements. Program cannot be continued any more but must be stopped. Previous beta-versions did not show this behaviour. The satellite elements, however, can easily be updated, also delta t.
The program folders do not contain a file skychart.ini

The default file is not currently being updated in the Minor Planet Center database. I suggest placing in Settings-Internet-Orbital elements, the link: http://astro.vanbuitenen.nl/cometelements?format=mpc
Then download the file from Solar System-Comets-Download MPC.

yes Vanbuitenen file for comet is much better. I already make a change to use this file by default, this is already available in today beta version.
