Summary0002314: Custom comet mark on chart can no be updated
DescriptionCustom comet (elements entered and saved) is shown as a small circle in the correct position in the star field.

However it instantly disappears when forwarding/backward in time. It does not work with time simulation either.

Can you give more details so I can try to reproduce the problem.
Maybe screenshot of the data you enter.

Screen shot off orbital elements. with how it appears on map when searched. If map advanced by time or simulated path it disappears.

Note these were preliminary elements published a week ago.

Thank you, this let me fix the bug.

The problem was the two decimal position for the element epoch. This is fixed by:
https://github.com/pchev/skychart/commit/0c4b7d601513bf39e86838e094d83b45fe499964
This will be in Monday beta version.

Careful the elements as listed give totally wrong position because the perihelion date is May 27, not April.
