The message is clear, you must not run the program as administrator. I was tired to have to solve the meany issues this mode can produce, so after having a warning in the previous version the program now refuse to start in this case. The solution is simple, run the program with a standard user, without privilege elevation. CdC never require administrator right to run. |

Up to now only one other user report a similar issue. We never get sure why it was not working be we suspect a third party application launcher to force skychart to run as admin. In this case a solution was to rename skychart.exe to skychart1.exe in Program Files\Ciel\ Then double click skychart1.exe |

This is not the same message, it say that User Access Control is disabled in the system and you use an account in the administrator group. This is a very dangerous setting because it make every program to always run as administrator even when not set in the icon. On this computer the solution is to enable UAC, the place that tell you to disable it must also have instruction to re-enable. Or create an account that is not in the administrator group for every day use. |

It is difficult for me to search why it do that on your computer and not on the thousand other running this version. If you want to search more you can install Microsoft process explorer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer Unzip and right click on procexp.exe, select to run it as administrator so it can show all the process details. Start skychart , locate skychart.exe in process explorer list on the left, right click and select Properties. Open the Security tab. If it run as administrator it show this two rows: BUILTIN\Administrators Owner NT AUTHORITY\Local account and member of Administrator group Mandatory When running as standard user the two value must be Deny instead of Owner and Mandatory. BUILTIN\Administrators Deny NT AUTHORITY\Local account and member of Administrator group Deny |
