OK, I see it. You probably have different element set for this comet and one is totally wrong. You can load elements valid for different date and Skychart search the elements database to use the element set for the current date. Probably it switch from two set between the 15 and 16. To know which elements are used, click on the comet to display the detailed information. If using the latest available MPC it should be: ref: 5/2013-03-04 But I think that all your elements are obsolete because even on your better map from 13 to 15, the comet is off it's real position by about 2 degrees. Please try the following to cleanup your element database: - open the menu Setup / Solar system / Comet / Data maintenance - click the Delete button in the box "Quickly delete all data related to comets" - click tab "Load MPC file" - click button Download |

Thanks a lot Patrick! Exactly, my error was I had not updated my database, I'm sorry. Anyway, I think could suggest introduce a warning message at starting when comets database is "n" days without actualize. Regards. |
