| Summary | 0001178: the night vision mode does not affect the interface | ||||
| Description | Despite different settings in the setup menu display colors, I can not get a satisfactory configuration for night vision. As shown in the screenshot, the color of the interface does not change, only the buttons are red (and are difficult to read). Obviously, the ideal would be that the mode "night vision" prime on the interface, even on the entire system. But is it possible? | ||||

It is not possible to change the GTK2 theme color from within an application. You need to install a black/dark GTK2 theme and use the system setting or gtk-chtheme to activate the theme before to launch Skychart. gtk-chtheme is good to preview the theme effect before to activate it. |

An example of such theme that work fine with Skychart: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/?content=118548 To install, just extract the tar in /usr/share/themes/ |
