It is possible to add an option for the label orientation but I am not sure to understand why you need it. To be sure to make it right can you upload here (in the "Upload file" section) a photoshoped map that show what you need? |

Hi, I include a portrait capture with some Greek labels rotated by Photoshop. I am creating maps for historical research and to submit documentation I need to present detailed maps with Greek letters fully showing at the orientation desired. The portrait and landscape capture options place the Greek labels vertically, but for some drawings I need the map to stay in position as is to maintain an approximation of the correct perspective and number of stars that can be captured without distortion, but I need to adjust the orientation of Greek labels. The size can be controlled, but not the angle or distance from star center. Thanks. |

Revision 2980 add the option to set the label rotation angle in Setup / Display / Labels. http://sourceforge.net/p/skychart/code/2980/ |
