Your screen shot is very strange, I don't understand how it is possible to get this coordinates settings. - Both top display and screen info show "Alt/Az Apparent" - The detail window show "Mean of the date Epoch 2000.0", a totally incoherent setting. This is because of the incoherence you not see the observatory data, this data is show only for apparent coordinates chart, otherwise it as no meaning. Normally the coordinates are reset to apparent when you switch the projection to Alt/Az. Can you try to switch to EQ and back to Alt/Az to see if this fix the problem? Also do you remember what you set in Setup/Chart,coordinates after you click the "expert mode" button? Maybe add a screen show of how it look now. |

This suggestion appears to have worked and I now see the 'Visibility for your observatory' data! Please could you have a look at the 'Updated Screen Shot' and confirm that the display is now coherent? ====> Also do you remember what you set in Setup/Chart,coordinates after you click the "expert mode" button? Maybe add a screen show of how it look now. <==== This was set to Azimuthal Coordinates when I looked at it after carrying out your suggestion. Changing this to Equatorial coordinates gives screen shot 'Updated Screen Shot 2'. I also enclose a screen shot of 'Expert Mode' but it would appear that switching on Expert mode removes the 'visibility' data. I hope that helps. |

Thank you for the screen shot. Yes, everything look coherent now and your setting is right. I let the issue open because I will do more testing to try to reproduce your skychart.ini. There is probably a bug when doing some change in some order and I want to fix that. |

Cannot find a way to reproduce the problem. I close the issue for now. |
