Summary0001831: Earth Umbra not at the correct place on Moon eclipse of 20180727 at Moon rise in Liege
DescriptionCoordinates are N 50 37 05 E 5 33 50, (Cointe Observatory in Liege)
Time 20180727 19:26:04 UT
The Moon is at the right place tangent to the horizon, but the Earth Umbra is at the right of the Moon (near end of totality), it should be at the left (near beginning of totality).
I joined an image file for comparison with Guide 9.1 (projectpluto) where the umbra is at the right place.

NB : I also tried on another computer with version 3.11 -svn-3433 2017/01/16 installed and I have the same problem
Steps To ReproduceCoordinates are N 50 37 05 E 5 33 50, (Cointe Observatory in Liege)

For me the earth umbra is at the right position, see screenshot.

I am interested to look why this is not the case for you.
Can you zip and upload here your file skychart.ini

Thank you for the file.

The bug is because of the one year simulation you have for the Saturn position. It look like the Earth shadow is draw for the last date of the simulation, so one year too late.

I try to fix this bug but for now you can just open Setup/date-time/Simulation and click Reset to bypass the problem.

Revision 3673 fix the problem by drawing the earth umbra for the first simulation date.
It is also plotted for the last date if the moon is in the simulation to allow to plot a simulation of the eclipse.
