I make a change based on the direction of the planet movement and the difference of ecliptic latitude between the first and last position. This way the label are better placed for the first change in direction. But this is almost impossible to solve for every case like complete loop that can be a O or a S. In this case the best is to not label every position. https://github.com/pchev/skychart/commit/92cea3ba3dbc2cfbfa9024cab1811f22ee230781 and https://github.com/pchev/skychart/commit/9087b08c340999539a793c98ff71214828b95864 |
