I was wrong about there being no additional problems after choosing to ignore the error message: Clicking on an option in the left pane of the "All configuration options" dialogue does not open the correct option.
Note that this issue does not occur when selecting an individual configuration option instead of the "All configuration option."

I think there is two problem, I just fix the options list not in the correct order that make the wrong option to open.

But I cannot reproduce the problem with this error message, this is a specific error for your config.
This is probably a wrong path in the Catalog settings.

Try to open the menu Setup/Catalog , you must see this error message. Click on every tabs on the top and you must find the wrong path marked in red.

You are correct, Patrick. There are wrong paths in the Catalog, VO, and User defined tabs. The fields for all entries are blank. I can delete those in the VO and User defined tabs but not the one in the Catalog tab. It will constantly generate the error message. I haven't made any changes recently to the catalog configurations, no adding or deleting or enabling/disabling. This behavior started after installing the latest update of 12 nov. Can I resolve this without a reinstall?

Thank you for this information.
I can reproduce the problem by deleting a path in my config.

The problem is because of a change I do to print an error message when Gaia catalog is wrongly configured but I forget to trap the exception at some other places.
This is fixed by:
https://github.com/pchev/skychart/commit/df65f78af26c2e8f1dddf2677aad5815e0b26037

The correction will be available in a new beta version Monday. After that you can edit the catalog to remove them or fix the path.
