related to 0002327 resolved VM 6.1 worked fine until I upgraded from Fedora 31 to 32. All lunar images no longer show, nor does the text on image

problem does not depend from Kernel: 5.6.0-050600rc2-generic i have the same problem also with kernel 5.4.0-14-generic and don't have the message about invalid UTF-8

It is not clear from the screenshot if the problem is only the fonts or if the moon has no texture at all.
Can you disable the phase display so we better see the moon surface.

So the common point is Mesa 20.0

This is strange because at the moment I see this issue only with some version of Nvidia driver.
With Nvidia the problem is solved in all the case by compiling the driver with the option specified here:
https://www.ap-i.net/avp/en/nvidia_linux

Do you know if Mesa as a similar option to not use glvnd ?

I don't know if Mesa as a similar option, I will try to find out.
Mesa 20.0 could be guilty because on the same PC different partition i don't ave the problem with Mesa 19.2.8
