| Description | Please note, relative newcomer to CdC and so some features may be present just not obvious to me how they are accessed. A potential list of features: - ability to turn off/on the "tails"/"lines" associated with double/multiple stars with a single mouse click rather than search through various catalogs via the set-up menu. Somewhat like the ability to display constellation lines/DSOs/Pictures etc. Similar on/off for variable star symbols. - When displaying the information on an object via the "About xxx" then clicking "Neighbour" is it possible to have listed which catalog filename the information that is displayed comes from? Makes sorting overlapping catalogs easier. - Using right click and "About xxx" is it possible to select which catalog the resulting summary information is displayed from rather than default? What determines the default information listed via the "About xxx" or that is displayed on the bottom status-bar? - The default order that objects are drawn from the catalogs: is it how they are listed in the catalog list? Is it possible for the user to have some readily identifiable way of recognising the drawing order (say an arrow with "drawing order" written near it somewhere on the dialog box) and perhaps modifying it if it is not the simple way of re-ordering the catalog listings? Revision 1715 add catalog source in object list and detail information. I fear the other suggestion make the program even more complicate to use. Selection of catalog after a click is done by Shift+click on the object, this open the standard object list that now include the catalog name. http://svn.origo.ethz.ch/viewvc/skychart?view=rev&revision=1715 |
