| Description | The Sun is called a planet in the detailed information and in the Calendar window. I suspect this has to do with the dynamics and calculations in the program. A bit funny in a program with this quality, needless to say we all know the Sun is a star. I hope it's not to much work to change this, but I suspect this might be not a simple thing to solve. | ||||

Hi, Right click on Sun | About Sun: Detailed info: "Planet" The same problem for "Moon". There is also one little "bug" in Edit | Advanced Search | Planet option there are listed all the planets, Sun and Moon. Maybe instead of "Planet" label it could be "Planet, Sun or Moon". Regards |

This is fixed by revision 1338. Detail information show Star for the Sun and Planetary Satellite for the Moon. Search and Calendar panel use Solar System Object http://svn.origo.ethz.ch/viewvc/skychart?view=rev&revision=1338 |
