| Summary | 0000485: Celestial equator line | ||||
| Description | It would be good to also have this helping line available along the others. It helps finding a good star in the south for polar alignment when using programs such as PolarAlignMax and WCS. | ||||

Is adding the equatorial grid not sufficient for that? (menu Chart - Lines/Grid - Add Equatorial Grid) |
|
|
Could be, but the display gets pretty crowded that way. Also, it's easy to pick the wrong line, so the equator should be thicker, just like the meridian is now. |

Fixed by revision 1350 (double width equator line) http://svn.origo.ethz.ch/viewvc/skychart?view=rev&revision=1350 |
