| Summary | 0000504: Crash when zooming in | ||||
| Description | When I zoom several levels down I get the following window: '"' is an invalid integer. Press ok to ignore and risk data corruption. Press cancel to kill the program. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | The problem occurs every time that I try to zoom several levels down either using the mouse wheel or boxing the area to zoom. | ||||
| Additional Information | I don't remember having the problem with V3.0.1.6. | ||||

I've isolated the problem further since this original posting: The problem occurs only when I try to zoom below 10 degrees FOV. |
I did try to reproduce, until now everything worked OK. |
i'm trying to refine this problem as accurately as possible. I can use the mouse wheel to zoom to about 6 deg fov before the warning window pops up. I can also use the fov control to move the fov to about 6 deg then the warning window pops up. However, when drawing a zoom capture area and left clicking, I can get down to only about 8-10 deg before the warning window pops up. |
This error also prevents me from isolating a small enough segment of the sky to utilize DSS. |
I went back and installed V3.0.1.6 and the problem occurred in that version as well. |
On further investigation, I have found that the problem does not occur with only a few catalogs (SAC and Bright Star) activated. I have not tried including additional catalogs in steps to see where/when the problem occurs. The problem may be in only one of the default catalogs that I load. |
I close because I cannot reproduce the problem. Please reopen and give more detail about the faulty catalog if you get this problem again. |
