| Summary | 0000510: Cannot track telescope using encoder.tid using sync command. | ||||
| Description | If I use a tangent clone and use the encoder.tid setting and then align the telescope on stars using the sync command I am unable to follow the telescopes position in that chart. I have two other charts open at the same time and they are able to track the telescope correctly. If I use the popup menu in the offending chart there is no option to lock onto telescope as in the other two charts. I can only lock onto the last synced star. I have no problems when using the ascom.tid option. | ||||

I plan to remove encoder.tid from the next version to only keep an integrated ascom driver. The driver to use with encoder is http://www.unm.edu/~eschman/Intelliscope%20Driver5.htm See also http://www.ap-i.net/skychart/en/pub/telescope_plugins Please give me your advice about that. |

The last version add Encoder interface nativally without plugin. This work the same as the old plugin. It is available from: http://www.ap-i.net/skychart/en/development_version In telescope setting select Encoders. Revision 1766 add the menu "track telescope" in Telescope main menu and popup menu. This will be available with next week version. |
