| Summary | 0000513: Zooming in/out in Fred Espenak's map often results in error: "Failed to create handles". | ||||
| Description | Invoke the "Ephemeris calendar", click the tab "Solar eclipses", double click in the list one of the fields "map" to retrieve one of Fred Espenak's maps. Click the "Zoom +" or "Zoom -" button. Most often the program responds with an error pop-up window. A click on the "Cancel" button responds in program closure, clicking the "Ok" button is a better choice. The program continues, and a next click on the "Zoom +" button rewards your patience with a zoomed in map. It appears to me to be a similar error as reported in issue 385. | ||||

This is probably because the zoom value was not initialized after loading an image. This is fixed by rev 1324: http://svn.origo.ethz.ch/viewvc/skychart?view=rev&revision=1324 |
