Summary0000524: Feature requests for finder circles and squares
DescriptionCopied from Yahoo groups:

One that I use a lot is the finder reticles for
eyepieces and cameras. I have a good number of them configured,
activated depending on the optical configuration.

One thing that is tedious though is getting to the config window. This
is rather cumbersome: "Setup->Display" then scroll the tabs over to the
far right to select the correct tab. Doesn't sound like much, but in
the dark, with gloves on, or needing to put the reading glasses back on
to see things... Would it be possible to add a toolbar button to access
both of these directly?

Also, another problem I have is remembering which circle/rectangle is
which. When using a main scope/guide scope setup, it's helpful to have
a CCD finder for the main camera and for the guide scope, plus
alternative CCD finder for different focal lengths (with/without
reducer, etc). Plus eyepiece circles. Even pared down to a minimum, I
currently have five of them enabled. Perhaps a right-click on the
outline itself to show a small pop-up with the text entered in the
config pane?

With the last snapshot version you can right click on the "Show mark" button to directly access the setting.
Right click is also available for most button of the "object bar" to access their setting.

There is now a "show label" checkbox at the bottom of the finder setting to add a label for each circle or rectangle.
