| Description | In Setup > Configuration > 5- Solar System > 2- Planets, the settings for 'Draw Planet As' do not work properly. Alternatively, it is not clear what the various options 'Star', 'Line mode drawing', 'Realistics image' and 'Symbol' do. 1. At all FoV, Symbol does not draw anything. 2. At very small FoV, 'Realistics image' draws a nice bitmap of Jupiter, and there is a difference between 'Star' and 'Line mode drawing', where 'Star' seems to depend on magnitude, and 'Line mode drawing' depends on size. 3. At 20 deg field of view, the options 'Star', 'Line mode drawing' and 'Realistics image' make jupiter appear as a big blob---probably 'Star' using the 'Star' setting. In CdC v 2.76, there was a setting called something like 'depends on size' and 'depends on magnitude'. I imagine that 'Line mode drawing' is similar to 'depends on size' but this does not work at wide FoV. | ||||
