This is how the Posix time zone /Etc/GMT are defined. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tz_database#Area [^] But I agree this is confusing for astronomer. I look find a solution for next version, probably by internally mapping UTC-5 to /Etc/GMT+5 |

This is fixed by revision 2186. All the selection and display now use the representation UTC-5 instead of /Etc/GMT+5 http://skychart.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/skychart?view=revision&revision=2186 [^] |
